About Me

A love of life, writing and selling

I've always loved writing and selling. The idea to combine the two passions moved quickly when I started E3 Content with the vision of using my experience as a Journalist and Media planner to focus on an industry I truly feel passionate about.

Having worked published in Cosmopolitan, New Idea and Marie Claire magazines, APN newspapers, industry specific magazines has given valuable experience in meeting deadlines and knowing how to cater my writing for specific demographics.  I also worked as a stylist and dresser for Mercedes Benz Fashion week. Even once I started working I continued to write and be published in various publications.

After completing a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication at The University of Queensland I started my media career at Australia's largest media agency. Developing media plans based on the specific needs for clients including:

  • Virgin Blue (and I was involved in the launch of V Australia),

  • Domino's Pizza

  • Devine Homes

  •  Jester Pies

  •  Night Owl

  • Federal and State political parties

The time at the media agency allowed me to develop an understanding of media planning. Being the early 2000's I was able to embrace the new technology coming through and adapt to the changing world of media. I was there before keywords, EDM's and SEO were common media speak. I was also part of the very tiny team that helped develop Australia's first online food delivery app.

It is fair to say I love everything about media- the psychology, the research for the best strategy option and seeing a campaign through from it's inception until the end for return-on-investment report. While it can be hard work- it is rewarding.

I stepped away from media to focus on my other passion which is education. But, I  still kept writing. During this period of time I met my husband and together we embarked on renovating homes. This ignited my passion for real estate. In fact realestate.com.au is one of the most used apps on my phone- even when we are not house hunting.

As the world slowed down in 2020, mine sped up and I was given opportunities to complete my Level 1 and 2 training as a Business Coach and subsequently have been invited to give speeches at conferences since late 2020. My topics include Building your professional identity,' and 'Staying curious at work.' Feedback from conferences resulted in a 98% satisfaction rating from the audience.

A Brisbane local, I have travelled extensively throughout Australia and am able to work remotely or conduct site visits within the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast region.
